Worship
Every Sunday we gather to worship at 10am, during the summer and the recent pandemic we have enjoyed doing this outdoors in the wonderful green space around the church. Each week we celebrate communion, sing a mix of old hymns and new songs, pray and hear God’s word read and preached from the Bible.
Groups for all ages
At St Mary’s all ages are valued as part of our community from the littlest to the eldest. We have groups ‘Explorers’ for up to age 6, ‘Pioneers’ for 7-10 year olds and a youth group for those going on to secondary school who gather as part of our Sunday morning.
Midweek small groups
One of the best ways to get to know people better at St Mary’s and to continue to grow in your faith and walk with God is to join one of our midweek small groups. We have a number of groups meeting evenings and daytime across the area. Find out about a group near you by emailing info@stmarysbarton.com
Other activities
There are a number of other activities run at St Mary’s which welcome anyone from the community who would like to join such as a Coffee and Craft group, ‘Barton Growers’ our gardening club, and a bereavement course running in the autumn. Special events
We love hosting special events for the whole community, in the past we have hosted fun days in the church grounds, holiday clubs for children in the school holidays and our annual Christmas tree lighting with carols is always not to be missed!
