Building to serve
St Mary’s Church was completed in 1958 following the design of Nugent Cachemaille-Day. In 2024 we are seeking to renovate and improve the building to prepare the church for the next phase of its life whilst maintaining the iconic 1950’s design.

Below is a slide show of the information which we are sharing with each other at St Mary’s so that everyone is aware of what we plan to do. If you are just browsing the website and would like to know more then don’t hesitate to get in touch. What we have produced is all done at no cost apart from people’s time. It is not professional but it comes from the heart as we believe that God has called us to be good stewards of the church buildings that we have received from the past. We’d love you to pray for us and to be supportive of what we are doing so that we can better serve Barton, Sandhills and Barton Park.

1 Chronicles 29:14…..But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
Luke 6:38……Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
